Outstanding 1930's English deco chromed brass and bakelite 'ring' lamp.....with aeroplane!....a Douglas DC2 I think.....still with its original decals/insignia.
Lamp comes with original cream/caramel veined glass shade and has been fully re-wired.
Lamp is 380mm tall and the 'ring' is 270mm wide. The aeroplane has an impressive 300mm wingspan and is 220mm long.
It sits on a solid bakelite ball and there is also a decorative bakelite ring atop the lamp base.
The stepped/weighted base is 170mm across.
